” I am more than happy to endorse the teachings of Master Andrew Jefferson. My children have been under his tutelage for 4 years now and not only do my kids love it by I do too. They are learning about the martial art of Tae Kwon Do and all the physical attributes it provides and at the same time about how to be good people of high character. Master Andy is highly skilled in what he does and is excellent at relating to all types of children. To me, that is a winning combination.”

“Our 9-year-old son started taking Tae Kwon Do classes approximately three years ago with Master Andy. During that time, our son has not only had the athletic side of the class, but Master Andy has taught him about good nutrition and behavior, respect for himself and others, built his confidence, and explained the Korean ways and culture. He conducts his classes professionally but still manages to have fun with the kids. It has been such a positive experience with Master Andy that another member of our family has since started taking classes with Master Andy. He has also made himself available for private lessons. We would recommend lessons with Master Andy to anyone. GamSahHamNida Master Andy.”

“I am the father of one of instructor Andy’s students. Also, as a middle school teacher, I am very impressed with Andy’s personal and patient instruction with all of his students. It has been difficult finding physical activities in order to keep my 10-year-old son active, but he really respects Andy’s teaching style and has been practicing tae-kwon-do for two years now. Thanks to Andy, I believe it when he says that my son will be a “lifer” with TKD

“I like doing TaeKwonDo with Master Andy because when we do self-defense and 1 step sparring he makes it fun. Like when he pretends to get hit he goes BOOM or POW! Master Andy is a kind and generous person. TaeKwonDo has made me a better person too.
Thank you Master Andy for teaching me TKD

“Master Andy has a positive way of motivating students and a keen sense of each individual student’s strengths and limitations. He is a great role model, and inspires students to always do their best.”

“Tae Kwon Do promotes a sense of self-awareness and well-being that I have not found in other forms of exercise or strength training. As you learn and progress with the forms and techniques there is always some new element to discover.”

“I have been taking Tae Kwon Do classes with Master Andy for about three months now. And I have a goal to get a black belt..I think it’s great for kids to have goals in life. Tae Kwon Do makes me feel focused and happy.”

“I would like to thank Master Andrew Jefferson for everything he has done for me over the last several years of instruction. I started taking Tae Kwon Do lessons from Master Andrew as a way to help me lose a little weight and learn martial arts to defend myself. Along the way to achieving my personal goals, I have found other areas of my life improving as well. My concentration and focus are stronger, I feel physically stronger and faster than I have in my whole life, and most importantly I leave every class feeling like I accomplished something.

Master Andrew is a phenomenal teacher. His knowledge and skill in the art of Tae Kwon Do are vast. He works amazingly well with my adult class which has a broad variety of ages and skill levels. I always feel as if I am getting a private lesson (which he also offers, in-home!). However, Master Andrew is one of the very best instructors for kids I have ever seen. I have had the honor of assisting Master Andrew in some of his kids’ classes and there is a reason his classes are always full! Kids learn discipline and responsibility while having fun and staying active and healthy.

If you are considering pursuing martial arts for any reason, I highly recommend Master Andrew Jefferson. I have an immense amount of respect for his abilities and instruction, but I have grown to truly respect the strength of Master Andrew’s character. You will learn far more than Tae Kwon Do should you choose to learn from him… and I sincerely hope you do!

“My 3 daughters are taught by Master Andrew at the Y. They are 6, 9, and 13 and he is just great with children. He is fun and also strict and professional which they need. They have learned so much over the last couple of years. I plan to keep them training with him through to the end.”

“Master Andy has proven to be not just a great TaeKwonDo instructor, but a great teacher. He has the ability to read his class and adjust his lessons to fit their needs. He teaches to the class while also giving each student individual instruction as they need it. He is fun but firm. It is clear that he loves what he does and he brings that passion to each lesson. I have enjoyed watching my son grow and learn under his instruction.”

“Having come from a different style of Tae Kwon Do martial arts, I felt welcome in joining Master Andrew’s classes. Master Andrew instructs with passion and enthusiasm in WTF TKD. He is very committed and dedicated to his classes. I hold the highest regard for his knowledge and expertise. It can be challenging and sometimes overwhelming when learning new things but Master Andrew is respectful of individual learning capabilities. This class is truly a great experience.”

“Master Andrew is amazing! He taught me martial arts when I was in middle school all the way to high school. He is a great instructor. I have always compared teaching styles to his and I’ve always preferred his. He is also a great role model. He was one of the adults in my life during my teenage years that greatly influenced me. If you want to be taught martial arts, build self-esteem, and discipline your mind and body go to Master Andrew!”

“I have always wanted to take some form or other of Martial Arts. I have always hesitated over reasons of money or lack of confidence in my physical prowess. Sometimes I would deny myself the opportunity simply because I lacked transportation or felt I would not be living at any one address long enough for it to work out.

I had been living at one address and working at one place for quite a while and I got into a conversation with a fellow employee about Karate. I got to talking about how I could not afford it. She said she taught Tae Kwon Do at a YMCA and they had good rates you could not find elsewhere.

Soon enough there I was signed up at a YMCA near me taking Tae Kwon DO with Master Andrew Jefferson as my teacher/instructor. Now I am a red belt going onto a brown belt in World Tae Kwon Do.

I have handled it well physically; I am in better shape than I was before I started and my attitude towards life has changed for the better.”
